Region II Head Start Association Annual Conference

Head Start a History of Challenges & a Legacy of Success: Building Resilient Children, Families and Communities

Brings together Federal, Regional and Local Experts on Head Start to facilitate sessions that will support the professional development of Early Head Start and Head Start Program Administrators, Staff, Parents and Commuinity Partners.

Visits to Head Start and Early Head Start Programs are being scheduled for Thursday, November 15, 2018. Please make sure to sign up for specific site visits as information becomes available.

A block of rooms has been reserved for November 12, 2018 - November 16, 2018. The special room rate will be available until November 19th or until the group block is sold-out, whichever comes first.

Original Hotel Reservations

The 2018 Region II Conference will be held at the Hotel Intercontinental, Isla Verde San Juan, Puerto Rico

Room rates are as follows for Single or Double Occupancy: Laguna View $179 per night; Pool View $209 per night; Ocean View $239 per night; Junior Suite $279 per night; Club Room $329; per night; and Executive Suites $850 per night.

Room rates will be offered three days priot and three days after the conference, subject to rate and space availability. All room rates are subject to 9% local tax. The charge for a third adult in the room is $47.00 per room per night plus applicable taxes (currently 9%). There is no charge for children under 18 years occupyaing the same room as their parents.

Reservations must be made by October 12, 2018 for special room rate. Conference reservation rates cannot be honored after this date. One night deposit will be required at the time of booking.
