Thank you for submitting a proposal for the 2022 Region II Head Start Association Conference.
We are pleased to notify you of your acceptance and are excited to invite you to join us!
 
We are looking forward to you sharing your knowledge and experiences and filling our workshops with your valuable presentations and expertise.

Please plan to arrive to the conference well in advance of your
designated workshop date and time slot.

We also invite you to enjoy complimentary access to the conference on your
presentation day. Registration must be completed for any
additional conference days.
 
  • How do I Check-In?
    Presenters should check in at the registration table prior to their session to receive a welcome packet which will include their name tag. The registration table will be located in the hotel lobby, look for it on the left when you walk into the hotel.
  • Will internet be provided?
    The hotel will provide internet access in each presentation room.
  • What equipment will be provided in each room?
    All rooms will be equipped with a projector and a screen.
  • If I have a question who do I contact?
    If you have additional questions, please email info@region2headstart.org.
  • How many participants will be at the conference?
    We anticipate 500+ participants. In 2018 when we were in Puerto Rico we had 900 attendees at our conference.
  • What is the dress code?
    The dress code for the conference is business casual. The average temperatures for San Juan range from a low of 77 to a high of 84 degrees Fahrenheit during November.
  • How do I get to the hotel from the airport?
    Ground transportation is available at the airport via taxi service, the cost is $19 from the airport to the hotel.
  • Airline Information
    Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport is the closest. You are responsible for all travel arrangements and expenses.
